South Africa: Talia Sanhewe and her camera-man Travers Andrews have scooped up the Vodacom Journalist of the year award 2009, Western Region, in the category Television General News for “The Broccoli Project”, a newsclip aired on CNBC Africa in early May.

Talia will be flying to Johannesburg for the final national awards on the 09 October. The competition, in its eighth year, is a prestigious tribute for members of the media as an endorsement of their work.
